Farewell

November 22nd, 2011

It’s been an increasingly difficult and frustrating past couple of years for us with what’s felt like a never ending series of problems and disasters, not only with the band, but also in our lives outside the band. As a result we’ve mutually decided that we will be putting Disarm on an indefinite hiatus. We’re all still the best of buds and we’re not calling things a day for ever, it’s just we need a while to to recuperate the band and recharge our creative and emotional batteries.

We’ve had some good times. We’ve had some bad times. We’ve had some really bad times, and we’ve had some downright fucking weird times, but, for better or worse, they’ve always been interesting times.

We’d like to give a massive heartfelt thanks to our families, friends old and new, the bands we’ve played with who we are now proud to call friends, the people who have stuck by and supported us along the way, and those who have always understood what we’ve done.

We’ll be having one last show with our bestest of the best buddies New Generation Superstars and Kitty Hudson on Saturday 25th February at the Civic in Mexborough (where else??).

Big love and see you around.

Brad, Jamie, Noddy, Ant.
